Poople is a daily word ladder with a silly fixed destination. Each day you get a random four-letter start word and must reach the word POOP in as few steps as possible, changing exactly one letter per step. Its own how-to page says the creators' dad invented it to pass the time on family road trips.
How to play Poople
- Start from the daily four-letter word.
- Each new word must be exactly one letter different from the last one.
- Reach POOP in as few steps as you can; your stats count extra guesses beyond the shortest path.
A quick example from the game's own recap: from CRUX, one shortest route is CRUX → CRUD → CRED → CREW → CROW → CROP → PROP → POOP, seven steps. Each word differs from the one before it by a single letter.
